Researching a West Kirby address, family or shop?

What's published on these pages is a small part of what the Research Group actually holds. Over decades, volunteers have built up a much larger archive of local material — including records of who lived and worked in individual houses and shop premises across West Kirby — a great deal of which has never appeared anywhere else, in print or online.

If you're researching a particular address, a family name, a local business, or any other aspect of the town's past, get in touch and we'll see what we can find. Genuine research enquiries are welcome to arrange in-person access to the physical archive. We're also currently planning the digitisation of the archive's several thousand pages of material — tell us if you'd like to hear when more of it becomes available online.
