Alongside what's on display, the museum holds a store of stones awaiting further research — recorded and photographed here for a rare look at pieces the public doesn't usually see.
In addition to the artefacts on display to the public, the West Kirby Museum has a collection held in storage awaiting further analysis and interpretation. Hopefully one day these will be available to view in person — in the meantime, this is a rare glimpse of these rarely-seen artefacts.
