Special Exhibition: Transport through the Ages
A new special exhibition on how people and goods have moved through history — by foot, horse, rail, road, sea and air. On display every Saturday, launching alongside Heritage Day on 12 September.

50 Years of the Wirral Country Park
A special exhibition on the development of the 12 miles of disused Great Western & London North Western Railway line from West Kirby to Hooton into Britain's first designated Country Park.

The Vikings Are Coming
Wirhalh Skip Felagr, Merseyside's leading Viking, Saxon and Norman re-enactment group, walked from Caldy to West Kirby and arrived at the museum at around 11:30am.

Heritage Open Days: West Kirby Old Village Walk
A one-mile, one-hour walk around the conservation area of the Old Village, taking in buildings dating back to the 17th century. Met at the Lych Gate, St Bridget's Church. Booking essential — narrow pavements made the route unsuitable for wheelchairs, the less mobile, or prams.
